Today we are going to be photographing the wedding of this beautiful couple at Benhams Grove in Centerville, OH. I thought it would be a great opportunity to add their engagement session to the blog. While I have been in Cincinnati a great number of times, this was my first time to visit Sawyer Point Park. I love the name (my youngest son is named Sawyer) and couldn't wait once the couple suggested it as the spot for their photo session.
This park had so much to offer. The John A. Roebling Suspension bridge featured prominently in many of our photographs. This bridge opened in 1866 initially and is so beautiful we had to use it. Among other features of this park are playgrounds, swings overlooking the river, and an indoor carousel (which was unfortunately closed on the day of our session). While it was a very cold and blustery day, we kept moving and kept warm and had a lot of fun!
Congratulations Melissa and Derek! I cannot wait to be a part of your big day this afternoon!
What a great location find! Great job!
